If you like\, bronze bowls may be rung and sung on the front and back of the body providing a gentle\, nourishing massage.\nHow does this work? The sounds of these instruments assist in harmonizing the central nervous system by entraining brainwaves to more meditative states while also resetting the peripheral nervous system by being immersed in coherent sound waves. DESCRIPTION:Restorative Yoga and Sound Massage\nwith Gaby Goldberg and Kirk Jones \nEnjoy a nourishing Restorative Yoga practice complete with the soothing sounds and vibrations of Tibetan Singing Bowls. \nRestorative Yoga is a gentle\, therapeutic practice that allows the body to open at its own pace. Using props for support\, we hold poses for a long time without effort or force. This allows the body to relax deeply while the mind rests. This monthly gathering will also feature Tibetan Singing Bowls\, whose healing vibrations will add another layer of deep relaxation to the Restorative Yoga practice. Bowls will be played in the room and rung and sung on the body to offer gentle vibrational massage with sound.
